The offensive plans announced by Netanyahu would push hundreds of thousands of Gaza’s civilian population southward. This is ethnic cleansing and a clear breach of international law.
More than 52,000 Palestinians have been killed since the IDF launched its ground offensive. The newly proposed offensive plan would move Gaza’s civilian population southward and delay vital humanitarian aid – worsening an already desperate situation for the over 2 million Palestinians in Gaza.
Our government and the entire international community must be unequivocal in their condemnation of this.
Aid must be allowed immediately to reach those who need it, all hostages must be released, the ICJ rulings must be observed, and Palestine must be recognised as a sovereign state.
The human cost will be devastating if this is not stopped, we cannot stand idly by.
